This user experience design course is the study of UX design and the role of UX designers. It examines how businesses and organizations use user experience methods to conduct user research, analyze, plan, and implement techniques that enhance a user’s experience. The course builds on concepts from prior UX research and design courses and emphasizes scenario-based exercises that apply design principles in practice. Students will use design tools to build prototypes and user interfaces, supporting retention and hands-on learning. The course blends analytical and practical approaches to user centered design. Topics include the design process, UI design, user interface design, UI UX design, interaction, wireframes, animations, usability testing, user personas, and the psychology of experience design. Students will also practice problem solving and apply design thinking to create meaningful, real world projects. (Prerequisites: ENTD120 and ENTD301)
